Story Behind The Photo: Greta

This picture was taken in Kisersian, Tanzania, where my team and I visited to help families and widows. We stayed at a school and conducted daily devotionals for the teachers and students. I had the chance to speak to the teachers twice, and these experiences taught me a lot and prepared me to share my testimony.

A key aspect of my lesson from this moment is that God will equip you with a unique message for the exact group you are ministering to. I also learned that age doesn't determine how much God will use you. Despite feeling inexperienced compared to the dedicated teachers, I realized that my impact was determined by my reliance on God, not my age. After these devotionals, I felt equipped when I was asked to share my testimony with the entire church that Sunday.

This photo captures that moment! Sharing my testimony about relying on God through grief brought relief to many people, and I'm proud and grateful for the opportunity.
